Cherry picking is now over for the season.

Thank-you to all those who  visited and to the amazing team who worked with us this season.

We started the season with the best crop we’d had in years, fantastic recovery after the drought years.  I’d put a lot into the crop to grow some fantastic size in our cherries.  The heatwave the first week of December and rain later season caused some challenges.  We were happy to be able to harvest some fabulous cherries and share our farm with many happy visitors.

In a year of labour shortages we were so fortunate to have a wonderful team picking this season.  As well as our regular local crew, backpackers were replaced by Australians – from school students through to retirees who were really wonderful to work with.  We hope to see you back next season!

Thank-you to all for working to keep our worker and visitor experience safe in this most unusual year.

See you next summer for what we hope will be a cracker cherry season.
