Our 2019 cherry season is nearly done – we’re almost out of cherries.  Drought and the extreme temperature swings that go with it gave us a  very small crop this year, we saved them all for our farm gate sales, pick your own and deliveries but even so not enough.  Last week they moved slowly then suddenly the heatwave came and we needed a crew of pickers to pick them quickly in the blocks most exposed to the heat.   A massive crowd of visitors on Sunday picked 1/3 of the orchard clean of what fruit was there.  Grea to see so many enjoy the orchard-  we now have very little left.

We’ve saved a few rows for pick your own this Friday and Saturday 7:30am – 10am.   Some beautiful cherries in there but not very much left – we suggest not travelling too far for it.  Limit 10kg pp so we can share it around.

7:30-10am this Friday and Saturday morning picked and pick your own only unless sold out.

The trees are super healthy so here’s hoping for a much bigger crop next season.  Thanks to all who have supported our family farm.
